Project Description

Recently we completed a project which epitomizes the radical transformation that can be achieved by re-facing the kitchen.
As the saying goes…..a picture paints a thousand words and this is certainly a case in point.

Tweakit Solution

Our solution was as follows:

• We replaced all the doors, drawer fronts and panels with new high gloss ‘Durastyle’ panels from Panelform Industries.
• Removed a number of over cupboards to make room for a large 900mm Parmco range hood (oven and hob also from Parmco).
• Replaced all the tired hinges and drawer runners and flap stays with Blum soft closing hardware.
• Fitted new sleek ‘Furnipart’ handles from Heritage Hardware.
• Installed a new high gloss HPL laminate bench top with new undermounted bowl & ¼ manufactured by L G Peterson’s Palmerston North.
• Removed all the old ceramic tiles to the wall and window sill and replaced with textured, back paint glass (to be honest one of the nicest splash backs we have installed to date).

This was all achieved while not making any significate change to the existing structure of the kitchen other than removing a few cabinets. Anything is possible, and the results, amazing!
